There’s been a lot of fun crowd funding campaigns lately. This, indivisible, that castlevania-ish title funded last summer.

Okay, well even if they never touch the original games ATB fill rate, all this mostly addresses the original issue with battle in the game kinda dragging a bit. It’d still be nice if they upped it slightly though, say, from 1.0 to 1.25 or something like that.

Pardon, my mind conflated late 90’s with early 00’s. To be more specific, they probably could have afforded to branch out into other fields like this, “BEFORE,” they flushed 100+ million on the Final Fantasy movie, but not now.

Last I heard, their game streaming tech just didn’t work very well outside of Japan, making its utility rather limited. It was probably unwise to invest in another proprietary piece of technology like that, not with so many other companies working on the exact same set of problems.

I tend to lean toward the idea that we’ll see a sort of, indie contraction. The demand for good indie games isn’t going anywhere, but it’ll probably take awhile for the market and consumers to really filter out the trash however.

One Punch Man ended a few weeks ago.

Even if they still have all the uncompressed versions of the backgrounds, chances are they were still rendered at a lower resolution then 1080p, and will need some touching up. Especially if they’re reworking where the camera sits so everything looks good in 16.9.
