It's like with any major tragedy. Some people can't comprehend that there are just really evil people who do things for very little good reason. It's so foreign and so alien to them that they have to invent a reason for it to happen, especially when it results in something that they don't like.

Now when phrased a little more like that, I definitely can agree with this. I'd fine tune it just abit one way or another, but as a whole, that doesn't sound half bad.

I'm genuinely trying to be polite* when I say this - it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter in the context of New York, it doesn't matter in the context of these magazines being illegal, and the difference it makes in am active shooter scenario is negligible.

I know everyone and their mother will post this, but damn it, this song still makes me shed a tear at times. It's just beautifully composed and takes me back to my youth.

It's the same tip as your example, just phrased differently and slightly more encompassing. It's taught in most firearms courses that I've been through and it's one I use in the courses I teach.
