That looks like Guy for me.
That looks like Guy for me.
With the advent of Kickstarter and streaming services I think this decade has been a gold mine for games/movies/shows/albums that are made for the fans and nobody else.
The leaked scripts weren’t supposed to be a sign Half Life 3 was coming. They were leaked basically to say “Half Life 3 is pretty well cancelled, so I might as well let you see some of what was made before the cancellation.”
Doesn't matter, had sex
They’re cartoony shoes for the movie. I’m sure they can make human-shaped versions that are way sleeker.
can’t wait for this one to end on a cliffhanger and then never be acknowledged ever again. also lol @ this being valve’s 1 and only tweet

Doesn’t matter, I’m already drinking mountain dew out of a coworker’s skull and telling people huddled around a burning fax machine about the “before time”. Before Valve came back we had planes and talking phones, before the sky was blue instead of a hazy red.
you forgot the big naked angel...
Nobody said streaming wasn’t the future (and if they did they’re wrong), it’s just that we don’t want to put Google in charge of that future.
That’s one of the reasons I think Xbox can do this better—I would imagine in the future their subscription will give you access to a lot of games that you can download and play to Xbox/PC and then if you’re on the go you can stream them. They have a larger existing library, plus original games, plus they have an…
Stadia isn’t able to run many demanding titles because there is only so much information you can pump through a server/modem at this stage of our internet world. Some games will have to shave off quality in order to get it to stream properly.
Now I see the confusion. You’re reading the word “surviving” wrong. He means survived literally. In that it continues to exist. Abandoned early builds, especially from that era, generally just get deleted or lost forever.
Looking at the game lineup, it seems no publisher was willing to tie new releases to this thing. Probably trying to avoid bad press when it (inevitably) comes out that the lag makes the game unplayable with Stadia for a bunch of people.
Yeah, I’m in a rural area so internet for me isn’t great. The idea of Google stadia has absolutely no appeal for me and that’s before all the lack of ownership and Google having a long and storied history of shutting down services. Owning digital games via Steam isn’t great but at least I have the files locally and…
I’m surprised Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order isn’t releasing on this service. I can only imagine Google is missing a size-able demographic who love Star Wars and don’t own a console/ powerful PC.
Then again, it’s Google. Who knows how they will mess this up (beyond Stadia’s current state).
Stadia’s biggest flaw is that they’re trying to sell digital copies of games you can’t even install. It would be like Netflix trying to sell you its movies one by one.
It looks like early 3D RTS games zoomed all the way in.
It’s really awesome that they can scale the graphics like that!
