It’s so hot that I burnt my thumb when I tapped the star.

press x to abandon the rebels to be ethnically cleansed

This is some hot Kinja.  Well done, sir.

There’s a bit of nuance and a bit of subtlety at work here that I’m not in the least surprised that folks seem to be missing. When a series like Call of Duty tries to use the light touch, one can be forgiven for missing it among the hammer blows.

The challenge is providing a compelling reason for doing it.

If it’s aiming for the realism of war, the part where you abandon the rebels to be ethnically cleansed should be interesting.

How do you keep it from running away!?

That is super badass! I want one.

Honest question that I’m too lazy to look up, does AV Club give Fs to anything but conservative propoganda pieces? I’m not saying they don’t deserve it, but it seems like that space between D and F is idealogical.

They haven’t been worth a damn since the PS2 era.  When I could make a tiny little character that could just run under everybody’s clothelines.

That’s exactly why crunches are bad. This game would have needed a lot more time, not crunch time.

Because Visual Concepts has been ass for the last 10 years. The only thing they give a shit about is NBA 2K. After MLB 2K8, they literally stopped caring for any other of the sports franchises. I believe most of it was they got too many games to handle and not enough staff, but christ. They removed a bunch of in-depth

i went to play as Paige but she wouldnt get off her knees blowing 3 dudes in the locker room

All due respect to Microsoft, but I don’t buy a game console to play ‘accessibility and value-related initiatives’, and in ten years it won’t be ‘accessibility and value-related initiatives’ that I’ll remember about this generation.

Xbox one’s utterly stupid launch mistakes were some of the reasons why I skipped this whole generation of consoles. Most games worth my time are available on PC anyway which is a better and more convenient platform.

Yes...? Did you somehow manage to miss out on the Brony phenomenon? It was big and weird enough that it managed to get major media attention in the early to mid 2010's. It still exists, even if it's in a much smaller form.

I think it makes perfect sense, in the internal logic of the game’s universe, that racism and sexism aren’t a factor. It’s the ultimate conclusion of corporate power - your identity doesn’t matter, only the value you generate for the company’s bottom line.

“Halcyon being called a colony certainly made me bristle at times”

Gita, come on, it’s the literal definition of “colony”.

Is this a sign? I feel like this is a sign
