True true! I was thinking that we’d see more core games on phones, but there seem to be fewer if anything. Way more clickers than when I first got my iPhone 3GS.

One of my favourites is Snow Barrel Blast from Donkey Kong Country. The music and atmosphere as you go through the level with a blizzard coming ever closer was amazing.

The Wii U sort of has travel abilities. You could move the controller around and play games, but were limited to being near the console. One nice thing that helps is that phones seem to focus on less “core” games than I expected them to, so mobile gaming is still viable.

I love the art in this game so much that I bought Ayami Kojima’s art book.

And here I was afraid that the Switch was going to fail.

I said the same thing in an earlier comment. Will all teams follow an American naming scheme, or will we get matches like Philadelphia Fusion vs. Chelsea OC (Overwatch Club)?

I really love the idea of competitive gaming (because we live in THE FUTURE) but I really wish they could find a better term than esports. I have a hard enough time with things like poker, darts, and NASCAR being sports.

It also seems odd to have city-based teams since esports are a global thing and different countries have their own naming schemes when it comes to their sports.

I always figured Second Wave = Andrea Dworkin.

That is how I’ve always figured it too. Second wave being people like Andrea “No such thing as consensual sex” Dworkin.
