You can still find, if you look, forum posts from the time complaining about Steam, complaining about Valve, talking about how the service would ruin PC gaming, how it had ruined Half-Life. In hindsight, these prophets of doom turned out to be so wrong it's adorable.
I know critics loved 9 and reviewed 10 pretty well too but I'm not entirely sure how well the games sold.
I like to think that Insomniac changed Overstrike into Fuse to prevent people from confusing it with Sunset Overdrive. Obviously Insomniac has made Sunset Overdrive look drastically more cartoony than Overstrike ever did but there is still a bit of resemblance.
I totally agree. Although Sunset Overdrive also got me salivating a little bit with their teaser video.
Fair enough. The show doesn't really get going until this guy show up though. So epic.
This is great news! As far as indie games go I have always felt that Hotline Miami was one of the more deserving candidates for a film adaptation.
I thought Spawn was for Xbox and Heihachi was for PS2. Also, like I've said before, Soul Calibur II will feel a little empty without Link. :(
It was originally aimed more towards kids but the show is written really well. It ended up building up a decently sized following among stoners and teenage girls and it just spread from there.
I wish ManShep had sack-shaped armor to protect his precious genitals.
