Well now isn't exactly the best season for gaming news. When March or April rolls around stuff tends to pick up. Right now it seems like they are just looking for stories to entertain their readers.
Original trilogy: I completely disagree.
I feel like that's an unfair comparison. HL and HL2 releasing 6 years apart but HL2: Episode 2 came out in 2007. So if HL3 somehow happened to release this year the wait would be no different than it was between 1 & 2.

I completely agree, but given that wanting to be Pokemon trainer was one of those few dreams I held onto from my childhood, seeing this style of imagery invoked a sensation of this world being a possibility within me. From a gameplay standpoint it is flawed, but I still highly applaud the artist's vision and execution.
