Sledgehammer Games is an in-house developer for Activision. They assisted Infinity Ward (after every key member left) with MW3 before moving on to their own game, Advanced Warfare. It was extremely good online as well. Not only did it have a great netcode, but you can use signals such as timers to coordinate actions without having to deal with mic lag between the two parties.
