The utilities in CA are monopolies, so the money is coming from the customers wallets. Utilities like power, and ideally the internet, should be government owned.

That’s not a safe assumption. If the road is blocked by a downed tree, there could absolutely be on coming traffic and their foot is probably to the floor.

Whoever ranked San Diego so high clearly only used Terminal 2. Terminal 1 is an aging and dated disaster that is long overdue for a complete remodel and expansion. They ARE in the process of figuring that expansion out, but for now, it’s awful.
