I remember! They were supposed to cut 18 cords of wood per house and had maybe 2 cords between all of them.

I actually sent in an audition tape to be on that show! (I was in college, don’t judge...) And I realized while watching it that they must have intentionally picked idiots for more drama. Because I probably would have just...you know...done what I was supposed to do and worked hard. No one would have wanted to watch…

Failures of mathematics, every time. There was the one with the families on the prairie and the one family didn’t ration their flour/sugar at all and were maybe removed because they would have died of starvation? Ugh, you guys, c’mon.

It was the most miserable one. I loved it. They slowly ended up eating rotten fish, having an insurrection because the leader was ordering them to do stuff and one dude ran away and ate modern food for a day or two. They completely failed.

I was also being sarcastic. That went well.
