It’s one of those phrases you pick up as a journalist that’s supposed to save time but inevitably takes up more time because you end up explaining it ;)

Really? Damn. I mean I can tell from every day interactions how this is getting to us in different ways... People seem to be much more prone to anger.

I have tried to watch this about 10 times now -every time someone posts it on facebook - and every time I have to turn it off because of strong feelings of nausea.

And now - instead of issuing their deepest apologies, etc - Delta kind of just dismisses the whole thing.

Oh it’s great! It’s when you knit quickly (usually while watching reality Tv) with one raised eyebrow and some piping hot tea nearby. It’s best if you can make little comments at the Tv like, “Someone’s getting kicked out of the dinner on Friday,” or even just a “Hm!” sound. My mother has mastered the art.
