Did anyone else think this is movie was basically a weaker version of Goodfellas, only about the financial industry? I kind of got the point after the first five “we literally had money to burn and there was a lot of drugs and beautiful women” scenes.

It kind of makes me want to cry to see something so beautifully animated with such an awful stereotype in it. What a fucking waste.

I seem to remember that the musical cue for “mammy” in children’s cartoons was “Arkansas Traveler.” I don’t remember if they used that in the Tom and Jerry cartoons, but probably. Like, did the musical director think “oh, a black maid character - I need to use a tune associated with the antebellum south”? Like WTF?
