I guarantee you that a train-your-dog-to-have-sex service is a common thing the same way that satanic ritual abuse was a common thing in the ‘80s. (In other words, it sounds like complete bullhockey, but it’s a lurid enough story that people keep repeating it.)

.

I assume “black people” are defined as the ones who meet their standards of approval?

>being well-off and having mental health issues is just as hard

The doctor changing her mind based on “new science” is bizarre. Like, I’m no gynecologist, but how do you mistake a normal vagina for one with traumatic and painful injuries? I wonder what the odds are that the doctor is just covering her ass.

Yes!

So wait - it says these were shot in Georgia. Fine. But is this staged? Are these people models who were paid to do this? I hope so. Maybe I’m missing something or being naïve, but I don’t see any indication of that anywhere.

“Black people are apes” is not a political view. It’s just hate speech. It conjures real violence, done to many real people, over centuries. Asking whether this lady has looked in a mirror herself lately is a small consolation.

I have literally never seen anyone, on Jezebel or elsewhere, claim that the condition of women is worse in the US than in Afghanistan. Never. Take your straw men and get lost.

Possibly, although it looks like ol’ Jack probably thought a hex (as in spell) was connected somehow to a hexagram.

RIP JTC. I’m gonna miss the fucker.

I think you deserve some kind of awesome roommate award.

Reading this post is like hearing your roommates having really noisy sex. Enjoyable for the people directly involved, embarrassing and annoying for everyone else, and the generous thing to do is just pretend you didn’t hear it.

I actually didn’t know the term SLAPP. I learned something new today!

Um...This is the state of N. Dakota we’re talking about, not the federal government. What’s your point exactly?

These charges won’t stick either. It’s harassment, probably meant to inflict legal costs and stress on her, while making an example out of her to scare other journalists.

This is something I probably would have done as a kid, and I was definitely not a budding psychopath. I was just fascinated by animals living and dead, and not easily grossed out. (Highlight of my summer vacation when I was 8: finding a dead cow.)

I was about to make a similar comment, but I wiki’d it, and if the wiki article is right, it’s also valid to use “tessitura” to refer to the range used in a song. *shrug*

Well, at least that’s not a double standard I guess.
