I’m not so sure. They responded quickly to OscarsSoWhite by lauding MOONLIGHT the following year. I’m still going big on LADYBIRD.

Now I’m going to place all my money on LADYBIRD winning Best Picture. Thanks!
My biggest takeaway from Ngannou’s UFC career is that Curtis Blaydes is one tough dude. Everyone else has been demolished by Ngannou and Blaydes made it to the end of the second round before the doc called it.
The most shocking aspect of this story is she didn’t pull the “I’m totally not a racist. That’s not who I am.” card in her apology.
I’m just curious as to what happened to non-lethal firing devices like those guns that shot bean bags. Those knocked the stuffing out of folks, but the “suspect” was always alive at the end.
You’re giving a sloppy script waaaaay too much credit.
And both were the losers of those fights. Why are people so obsessed with flying the flags of losers?

Nearly 100 comments in and I have to post this gem:
“Some, like Bryan Singer, must wake up every day now grabbing for their phones, waiting for that proverbial other shoe to drop.”
What is amazing is right now I’m seeing fandom react in the same way to the Singer stuff as they did with the Louis CK rumors. Still living in the land of “anonymous sources don’t count” and…
I’m actually really creeped out by the reaction to this story than either Weinstein or Spacey. On nearly every place I go there are comments like, “What did he do wrong?” “This is not sexual assault?” or “Why didn’t the women just leave?” The worst by far though is “I don’t see any evidence outside of accusations.”…
“Famously the son of Woody Allen and Mia Farrow” - please fix this error
Jesus, you really wrote that reply.
Someone should talk to Alex Burton about his Singer experiences:
When reached for comment at 3am, Spacey said, “I need to take my dog to the park.”
Serious investigation was already done with An Open Secret. Hollywood buried it.
That guy was actually a woman in Adalaide Byrd (who has a LOOOONG history of wonky scores).
The key point of the first quote is them not having “necessary self-awareness.” So why do you think for a second they would feel miserable?
He doesn’t seem to mind his dad (and his money) now:
Wow, sorry to hear this news. I didn’t follow him in any way, but he was on Tosh.0 once and was surprisingly down-to-earth, candid, and cool.
