Reflexively, sure, we make attachments and assumptions about the things we see, but we're also capable of thinking intelligently and reasoning out the truth behind the act. I'm disappointed that evidently a lot of people just take what they see as truth.

Haha, I know exactly what you mean. I've had stress dreams about doing stand-up and telling a joke about what I perceive to be a universal idea only to be met with confusion, because no one has experienced what I'm talking about.

Also, you've managed to finally make me rethink using my actual name on the internet. "Yes Will, you are being insane," in my mind sounds like HAL or the twin girls from the Shining.

Wow. You actually made a chill run up my spine. Are you sure you're not taking this a little too far? Porn is like Nazi propaganda? Yes I'm sure the industry has it's fair share of questionable material, and in no way will I ever condone misogyny, but I also think you're doing women a disservice by blanketing the

I was just thinking: as far as internet porn being too much, is it really that much different from a movie or a game?

I'm of the mind that there's really no "right" way for a kid to learn about sex. It either seems like they get too much information (like the porn problem you mention) or it's just sterile and cold like sex-ed.

I remember watching Bordello of Blood as a kid. I found it revolting, but I also knew there were tons of boobs in there. I think I must have watched it 50 times, trying to strategically look away when there was gore, and catch the good stuff.

Christ, well they're certainly doing nothing to squash the rumors that without Steve Jobs the company is fucked...

Technically speaking, we'll all find out whether or not there's life after death. Or: we'll find out if there's life after death. If there ISN'T, we won't ever know about it, because we won't be there to experience it, because we won't be.

She kind of looks like a green version of the trash heap from Fraggle Rock

The voice? Fuck yes. But Hamill himself walking around in face paint in a purple suit? Not the best.

Am I alone in feeling that if I could somehow get into a meeting at Warner Brothers about their plans for Superman, Batman, Justice League, etc, I could make a fucking awesome series of movies?

Hey man, I think you're on the wrong site. Gizmodo has always been a site focused primarily on pop-tech. Or maybe not "forever," but definitely for years.

Well...good point.

How about Hellraiser? My idiot friend Bobby was freaking out about how great it is (you can hear it, if you want, on my podcast Will and Bobby Know Everything), so I finally watched it last night.

I just watched Hellraiser for the first time last night. I think those cenobites are on to something...

I loved Cabin in the Woods, and just like a lot of other people, I'm hoping for a sequel/prequel DESPITE the fact that the movie is designed so that neither matters/is possible.

Nothing yet here in central NJ! But even when it's up, any idea if I'll be able to download over 3G or will I need wifi?

Meh, I'll just do what I do in case of nuclear strike: hide in the refrigerator

I definitely agree. For the past few months I've spent so much time in my commute, and loved it.
