When it comes to a red, white and grey livery, Audi are the OG.

My father used to have a VW 1500 in the early 1970s and came up with the same idea: Put the Type 3 motor in all VWs and make the beetle a hatchback. He actually wrote a letter to VW and received a reply with the usual “Thank you for your input, but due to whatever this isn´t going to happen, blah, blah”, and a box of

I think it looks like a Miata- based bodykit desperately trying to look like a 6- Series Bimmer convertible.

Coming up: A Miata- based rebody kit.

As to entry level Harleys:

The latter are marketed under the Dacia brand in Europe.

Torch, I am slightly disappointed, that you, VW buff that you are, are completely unaware of the twin engine efforts of the VAG. Sure, news about experiments from the old Continent on cars not available stateside rarely make it over the Pond, but at least the Pikes Peak effort (they came in 4th) should be known in

...dreaming of a Lotus with an angry WRX boxer engine mounted amidships...

I really couldn´t say it looked boring or blank. I wouldn´t have expected the wedgy Saturn design language to actually work on a boxy crossover front valance. I really like to see a clean, uncluttered design without “off road” cladding, “rugged” wheelarch extensions or the stupid “flaming surfaces” and “character

V8 Roadsters will provide you with everything to swap the engine, plus packaging might become easier with the Mustang front.

Tiff Needell tested an XJR- 15 in 1991. It must have been quite a handful to drive.

Obligatory: Pretty sure that´s an Opel, dude...
