Yeah, do to it's Beta status, there's zero story and no high-end useful items that cannot be crafted, but i'm 99.9% sure that this stuff is going to be added. It's currently a solid POC sandbox with amazing possibilities.

Warning: Terraria is painfully addictive and a LOT deeper than i had originally thought. It's one of the few recently released titles that completely distracts me from any form of Natural Real Life Time.

I haven't played the demo, and i've been avoiding much of the talk (old school Duke3d fan. And i try to avoid both hype and haters until i can sit down and play/watch something for which i'm excited), but i just heard about the Halo-style additions (two guns on your person, regenning health).

I had a friend over the other weekend playing NSMBWii (mind you, i'm 30, Wife® is 28 & Friend is 27), that loves everything Ninendo (from Nes to now) and he was stuck on a spinning piece of ground. I told him to run. He looked at me weird.
