It really is a cult though the way these people talk about the game. Not all, but too many have legit been brainwashed into thinking this game is going to be this life changing thing. Outside of taking away and burning a bunch of their money.

Scam means it’s a deliberate attempt to trick people. I just think CR is incompetent and is bad at managing a project. From what I’ve read, this has been a long term problem when it comes to him.

The biggest scam ever in video game history, probably one of the largest across all industries, yet people will defend this shit til the day they die and how it’s not a scam.

No, because that’s literally the point of a game like Fortnite, and Fortnite includes that stuff as a feature of its gameplay.

The fact that the game doesn’t provide the ability to build defenses should clue you in to the fact that the game doesn’t “allow” it.

Read this back to yourself, slowly, then try to imagine why this sounds so goddamned funny coming from someone defending the “Evil Overlord” for not being able to deal with the “resistance” his behavior spawned.

It’s not though. They didn’t give the ability to do anything negative to other player’s stuff. This is an exploit of a system that limits the number of publicly visible bases because the game was not designed to be a persistent galaxy-sized MMO.

Nah I see what the guy is saying. I never got upset at villains on TV shows until Captain Cold came to my house and froze all my soup, but it was my own fault for watching The Flash and being a part of that community. 

SGX reiterated this point numerous times: he’s just roleplaying, and the people who are criticizing him and reporting his channel are the real bullies and harassers.
