People arent leasing right now because the manufacturers have completely stopped subventing lease rates and residuals.

“the real message here is we should all be more racist against asians” is not a great message

im not sure the amount of money generated by GTA Online bears you out.  I dont care about GTA at all, but i gave zero fucks about Red Dead Online...but I would have been day 1 for any story based DLC.  I really wanted another undead nightmare or something.

You’re not in the minority at all. Most GTA players want a new game, not online BS.

I realize I am in the minority, but I can’t stand GTA online. For me, the game is the single player story. Those who feel like I do were let down by Rockstar because they added nothing to the single player experience.

I guess that’s where the money is, but playing GTA Online was one of the worst experiences I have had

I know where they’re trying to come from with the statement about how they’re looking to be more progressive and inclusive (which are definitely good things) but sometimes I still can’t help but think “couldn’t you have just said “we’re changing it from ‘race’ to ‘species’ as the latter is more accurate”” rather than

The moral of the story. Stop buying these overpriced collectors editions. Vote with your wallets. You don’t need that crap. And it’s crap every time. It’s like $25 in loot crate level collectibles and then they charge you $200 for it.

Because there are enough vacant residential properties in the US that every single homeless individual could be given 29 currently unoccupied residential properties to live in. If you take into account homeless family groups or friends who would live together, that number increases further.

Where’s Mao when we need him?

NYC, famously the only town in America with landlords.

The Ultraliberals are at it again

This. Every argument I’ve heard about it “influencing pop culture” or “movies” is either “3D” or “it made a ton of money”. None of those a cultural; they’re technical and financial.

This whole article seems an overly desperate stretch over and around the weird hollowness of the first Avatar movie and its lack of resonance in pop culture despite its box office success. Titanic gets referenced far more in pop culture than Avatar, and it came out 25 years ago. Toys and other Avatar merchandise

Your argument barely supports your premise.  Nobody’s denying the technical impact it had on filmmaking or the number of 3d TVs that it sold, but it definitely didn’t have the same kind of pop culture impact as Cameron’s previous movies.  Nobody’s quoting any of the blue people a decade later while ‘Game over man!’,

Whenever one of these gun nuts claims good guys with guns save lives, they need to be immediately reminded 376 “good guys with guns” were unable to stop one man from killing 19 children and 2 teachers.
