Yes, that’s true. But, whether they opened minimal dinning then or not is mostly irrelevant when the vast majority of people still weren’t going out to eat anyways.

I agree. As fucked up as the whole monarchy/royal situation is, the fact that they married after decades of what must have been misery is kind of sweet. If it were anyone else - a romance with a semi-forced marriage due to traditions and keeping mom happy - people would be cheering for them.
