@TurboTimmy: Since the Nissan-Renault alliance powers Red Bull Racing, you have actually seen them win a lot.
This falls into two camps. Porsche is better than Nissan, Nissan gets compared to Porsche whose cars are in general much more expensive, Nissan wins. People tell Porsche to get over themselves, Nissan wins.
I hate this as much as the next person, however merging late in an orderly fashion is the most efficient way to do it. It is actually the people who won't let them in that slow traffic. That being said, I never let the bastards in.
