As someone who does the hosting for events like this, I could not live with myself if I asked for payment for a meal. It is a lot of work (especially when everything is made from scratch) but it is my pleasure to serve and host. If I didn’t enjoy it, I wouldn’t bother with it.

Maybe a thumbs up or thumbs down system would work. The idea is that if you had a group and jived well with a few players you could thumbs them up or down and then when trying to match you with others it will try to find matches that have players you have thumbed up before and avoid those that have been thumbed down.…

I saw the hourly wages and is that really a thing? I’ve heard that the US pays people shit but damn. Who the fuck can live off $3.65 an hour? I’d sleep on the job too if I was only making that much.

Give it a try with the new expansions, the era score mechanic and individual city happiness instead of global happiness really changes the game meta. And the best part, no stack of death!

Yah a Railroad or Trade focus seems like a smart choice. For a unique unit I think a Courier de Bois scout unit would be appropriate. As long as they don’t keep making Mounties military units, I’ll be happy. But if there is a Diplomacy Victory now, I could see Canada being a civ that would get some advantages there.
