All fair points, absolutely. But it doesn’t change that I would still like to see them get very clever with something new. I would be very interested to see some fresh ideas, even a story that’s not about the Federation.

I tried to learn German in high school and did not do very well. So many dative verbs and pronouns. And 13 character words with incredibly specific meanings. Was fun but challenging, and I was ultimately not up for the task.
