It was one of my favorite movies in a day when TV/Movie sci fi had gotten so bad.

I agree. I like the idea of this film. But thus far no one has hit the bell yet.

When the first Ultraman series made it to America in the early 70s I was a BIG fan of it. Loved that show. But it was many years before I realized how big that show was in Japan and how many different iterations of the theme there were.
