I wish people would stop saying and thinking stupid things like “I do not agree with you, but I respect your opinion.” No YOU DO NOT “respect his opinion.” You think his opinion is STUPID. What you respect, what I respect, what we ALL should respect is his RIGHT to HAVE an opinion. If you “respected his opinion” then

No, but it does remind me that the promises Insurance salesmen make are as good as unicorns.

When can we get past the damn flashback sequences???

I feel this graphic is a fail.It mixes up eras and media, yet is woefully incomplete in both. Plus, it doesn’t really show an “evolution” of anything. The “evolution” is better seen starting with the first comic book machines and up to the movies. But, is this about film Batmobiles? Or what?

This show already lost me. I found the lead actor too smarmy and trying to “be” funny. And since I don’t like the lead, since the back plots weren’t compelling for me it all adds up to a pass, for me.

The thing I like about this series is that they have totally embraced the “comic-bookie” style. We DO have giant talking gorillas, time travel, other universes, etc. etc. And it is all presented straight up. What I’ve always hated about past attempts at TV/movie superheroes is that they always tried to divorce the

Ha, exactly, Mr. Lahey. But what is funniest is that what will REALLY happen in the future is that people will look back on the idiots from 2015 as wonder what sort of mental illness they were inflicted with.

Do NOT change Vampi’s costume. The entire POINT of Vampirella was to give teen boys a hardon. Putting nine layers of clothes on her totally eliminates the whole point for the character.

I find them all obnoxious.

Typical. Don’t like someone’s considered opinion, call them a name. Too bad you hate freedom of expression.

Where did I ever claim to be “cool”?

Sure. But people thought Andy Warhol was a genius, too. They thought so because they assumed they were SUPPOSED to love him because he was cool. In truth he was a hack. Same for Watchmen. It is junk but lots of fan boys “love” it because they are told to so that they can be cool. Watchmen is terrible in nearly every

The ending was absurd and the Moore utterly misrepresented the contemporary history he was trying to comment upon.

No doubt it started a trend. I am not saying it wasn’t influential. I am saying it sucked. Bad story. Indifferent art. Junk.

The book is overrated dreck.

Episode two was enough for me to quit this one. The crime of the week was rote and stupid. But, worse than that, the lead actor in this has no compelling story and no presence on screen. I have yet to find any reason at all t care about him. So, I will move on to other shows.

I did watch this series, but I have a vague feeling that it was always building to something but never having anything like a pay off.

This was a funny paragraph in this post...

Of course, nothing made after the 1980s is really collectible because by then manufacturers realized that could “make” collectibles by trying to manipulate things. The only thing that is really collectible is something that is rare because relatively few exist, not because some company purposefully manipulated numbers
