Why is VC such a must for people right now? Is it not better for Nintendo(and for us) to work on getting new games to the system not old? I have like 10 games I want for NS,  I don’t see the problem with the line up, granted most games are coming to PC also but I like the portability better and prioritize NS for that.

My guess would be misdirection. You don’t know where they’re going to line up until they suddenly break into their formation, so it’d be a few seconds less time for the defense/coordinator to take in the information and make sure everyone has their assignment.

Disagree. Nintendo is good about only creating DLC post launch, and at a good price. Anything made prior is put on disc. It’s DLC, but rather than paid per game, the DLC is funded by the amiibo cost. Buy a Link amiibo, and you get a cool figure, can train Link in Smash, get a link costume in Mario cart, get spinner…
