After all the patches it's not so bad......but initially, yeah it was pretty bad.

That's not what every gaming site seems to have been reporting the last few weeks.

I'd rather get the full experience the first time. I've debated but I just can justify buying it on what will be an outdated console, and then buy it again a few months later (Hopefully not too many months).

I already have a PS3. I want the high end graphics so i'll wait for the PC version.

Seriously? All of these gripes could be said about contracting jobs with any corporation. Replace your company name with any large company in any industry and you would hear contractors complain about the same thing.
