You can tip like a decent person (20%) AND advocate that we pay servers a living wage so that tipping isn’t necessary. The two are not mutually exclusive. One is for the short term, one is for the long term. 

Also they are usually difficult to mount and remove, reduce your MPG, cause your vehicle to possibly not fit in parking structures, and you must find a level place to park, or deal with leveling your vehicle before deploying. I think I’ll stick to throwing a ground tent in the back of my Xterra.

Kids + Dogs = 3. I also have found that to be the magic scenario for needing that third row. Dog does not like to sit between two child-car-seats (who can blame him?), and if you put dog in the cargo area, where does the luggage go?

Does the infotainment still have that stupid “we stuck a small tablet onto the dash” look, accompanied by a dial in the center console to control? I dislike BOTH of those design choices, and together they were even more frustrating.

BONGO! That guy was fun. 

Why would we not get the RF, it’s great. If only I could fit my two kids in there. 

Or, don’t drink starbucks before or during your hike. This eliminates two waste issues: the cup, and the poop.

The shutdown is a huge embarrassment and its cause is even worse. That said, people who visit national parks or other outdoor areas should behave better. Especially with widespread reporting of closures and  limited resources. If you have to go in the woods, pack it out! At the very least, bring a shovel and cover it…
