It's incredible because it's not a Pinto. And for other very good reasons, that I can't seem to recall right at this moment...

Bacon? There was bacon offered? And I missed it?

If I had some serious cash, I drop it on that. Right after dropping some on an '82. Then I'd drive the '14 during the week, and the '82 on the weekends.

I've known it was fake for a long time, though I don't recall exactly when I first learned of it - I recall reading an article about it, possibly C&D?. I wonder what's going on from the manufacturers point of view? Are they trying to reduce the noise level of the car while still maintaining the sound, or are they

I would miss, at least once or twice. That guy, I doubt it. It looks like he's been doing for a good long while.

It looks to me that the truck either went left of center, or an on-coming vehicle did the same. In either case, @ about 8 seconds, there's a collision between the Cow truck and another vehicle that causes the truck to turn left and topple over.

I know, and I understand the thrill of laying strip of rubber down a street, having done so many times so long ago. But to sit there and burn a tire down to nothing, or even to the rims, I just don't get it.

I've never really understood the appeal of doing a burn out. Seems to me all it accomplishes is burning a hole in your wallet.

What? It's hard to believe that we legislated people out of work just because they didn't want to join and give their money to a worthless association? And we're happy that the same association gave these people their same jobs back? That's not America. That's Amerikan Socialism at it's best. And you call that a

Change comes slowly, eh?

No, actually I remember the article. I suppose I missed the inferred tone - regarding the mocking bit. But thank you for the reminder. :-)

Well, now, there you go. That's something I can get on board with. Thank you for the information! :-)

Why "Booth Professionals?" I get the sans 'babes', but still? Why not Auto Show Models? Would they put on the their resume, "Booth Professional", or "Model ... "? I'm guessing the later.

17.5k for flood damage, front end collision, no fenders and dire need of a paint job? What, are they on crack? I've got $1000 I could give'm. I wonder if they'll bite?

I actually don't care if they got the renders correct or not. What I find interesting is that the community is driving interest in this thing, not GM.

Which just means, that in 2012, Ford can get (potentially) more power out of a 2 liter v6 than Chevy could get out of a 5.7 liter Corvette v8 engine in 1982. There's something wrong with this picture. Has engine technology really advanced that much, or were we just lazy back then?

I don't have dish or cable, so if it's not streamed over the net, I'll be missing it.

As an arm chair quarterback, I'll make the call that the camera man had his equipment in the wrong place.

Being cyclist who obeys the laws (and rightfully takes the whole lane when turning left), I must say that the feeling is mutual, my friend. Mutual.

And there's a lot of duplication on the Internet Archive. It archived several dozen snapshots of my web server between 2002-2005, but it's mostly the same information. A nice milestone, nevertheless.
