how bout you read my damned comment. that's not my point...my point is i find it hard to believe that it takes that long for the sound (at worst) to get to the runners ears. I use to be a runner, i definitely understand how important a fraction of a second is. It just seems like that's a part of being a runner. if

who said anything about 20m? where are you getting 20m from? The shortest race is a 100m dash...so assuming the starter is at the finish, the pistols sounds 100m away, wouldn't that mean .33s for the sound to get to the runners ears.

swimming doesn't really have a mechanical/synthetic advantage anymore. The olympics banned the full body suits that Phelps and everyone wore at the last olympics because they said swimmers in those suits were setting too many world records.

So Buckyballs are going to be banned...but guns are still legal...i don't get it...

1) Sports - Undoubtably there are plenty of sports photographers who will shoot with auto focus, however, I've shot a number of sports photos myself long ago on 35mm with absolutely no autofocus. You set your exposure ahead of time, and you follow your subject and have your hand on the dial constantly making minro

that's true, good photography classes should teach you how to use all of the functions of your camera. but at least in my experiences (taking photo clases at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago) they'll briefly cover the standard functions of the camera, but for the most part they assume you're already family

Does it say in the CNET article what the final agreement was?

If you've ever taken a GOOD photography class, you're told NOT to use autofocus, that you should always use manual focus.

jeeze...all the votes for safari and chrome are ridiculous...anyone who votes safari only votes safar cause they've never tried anything else...those who use chrome are people who used safari and switched because a new - brand name browser - came out for iOS...

VOTE: ATOMIC WEB BROWSER

nope...not upgrading to Mountain Lion...at least not until it's been out for awhile and I hear good things about it.

We're more original than we thought. Apple, it's nothing like Samsung - Judge Colin Birss

i honestly think all advertising should be like this. I love minimalism. It says all it needs to say.

i was wondering the same thing... you can probably access the battery pretty easily. i would guess replacing the battery wouldn't affect the locking mechanism. Say it's locked on something, but the battery dies, you turn it around, replace the battery, and you're good to good. As the other commenter said, there's

well...I just went through a bunch of these...and well..It seems like most people don't seem to care what kind of porn their looking at...they just care that something is sexual...I'm either too picky...or most people just don't care...most people are just horny and just want SOMETHING to jerk off to/put their dick

I thought the Alexa looked the best, but i think that comes down to personal preference. It is EXTREMELY objective. As other commenters have said, this proves that a good film maker can make anything work, and it's definitely true. The GH2 was my second pick. I don't totally like how saturated the color of the

seriously...why haven't kids gotten it through their thick little heads that they're not suppose to talk to strangers...

i've never had any issues with Time Warner...I like them better than comcast...

this is hard the most complicated lego machine ever made. It's not like it's a real engine...there's anywhere from one to a handful of motors that are just making blades within the model engine rotate.

you clearly haven't been to wisconsin, Milwaukee=little Germany, seriously, huge german population. why do you think there are so many breweries there?
