I think your advice is great for folks not familiar with doing deals from Craigslist. In fact, I could add a whole bunch of pointers that aren’t really legal things to look out for but things that can tip you off to shady folks. Sounds like it man. I was just shopping for a sub-$4k pickup truck to do some hauling and I met some of the nicest people. Even when the owners didn’t know much about cars, you could tell that they had a small place in their heart for their trucks...maybe that’s a truck thing though. I couldn’t imagine anything but…

Pretty much anything that comes in a box at Ikea fits in my C30.

So much craigslist/user car hate. A few text messages back and forth to the seller is all it takes me to figure out if there is something fishy. It’s all a numbers game with any internet based service, and you do have to spend a bit more time protecting yourself, but since when could you do something that saved you…

I had some co-workers that proudly worked on the tent project. They still had a hard time finding praise for the Aztek overall. They wore the jackets though because they got them for free.
