my current wifi which is the one I've had for a just over a year COULD NOT BE SET TO THE PROTOCOLS

not even close you needed the dongle because it used a wifi protocol that not every wifi hub could read (and rightly so it had VERY short range)

modern Wifi units are incompatible i know because it was one oft he main reasons i eventually upgraded to the 3ds last time i looked the dongle cost 75 bucks between that and them ending the networkfor the older DS models i figured it was as good a time as any to upgrade

wrong the DS used a now obsolete wifi protocol that even when the system was new not every WIFI unit supported the dongle for all intents was an interpreter "translating" the Shit protocol with one that actually worked
