First off, Sony Santa Monica is awesome at their craft. Secondly, could they take the God of War franchise into another genre Stephen? And what would that genre be? I would love to see what the folks at Sony Santa Monica would do with an open world setting, but I just don't see Kratos playing in that sandbox.

You make some valid points. But I am judging her on more than just this one article. In my opinion, if you look at the entirety of her work at Kotaku, I find her to be a troll. Perhaps in an attempt to get more "hits" on her stories.
