THIS IS WHY WE NEED INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALISM. Sorry for the caps, but this kind of case DESERVES to be looked at and reported on as if under a microscope. Little snippets of information in tv soundbites and the subsequent social media outrage doesn't lead to lasting change like a well-researched article can.

I'm glad "Amy" and her husband have found their way to peace and happiness in their marriage. My comment is a rather simplistic one, but I think it is a great accomplishment for them to have discovered a place of contentment in this world.

I feel like it gets weirdly built up. It's just like any other nice turn of phrase that can be deployed for cruelty. Was there a massive push by meat-eaters to have a tofu of their own? Like, they would love tofu, if only it weren't for all the soy beans in it? I just don't see the value here, other than "hey, we did it!" Is it cheaper to make? Maybe uses less water than growing soy beans to make it? It says it takes 10000 meal

As stated in the intro paragraph, there are other reasons to be aware of sugar content besides weight. People with diabetes have a very serious need to closely monitor their glucose intake. Weight is not the only factor in maintaining a healthy body.
