Abortion debates on Facebook are never good for my work productivity. I just had one today. Even though I knew I shouldn't have responded to his purposefully inflammatory post, I still did. He was clearly looking for concurrent comments, a few of which he got. Thankfully, a few people backed up my argument as well. I

For the last LW, I hope the guys in that situation is smart enough to get a pre-nuptial agreement.

That girl almost ruined the film for me.

Personally, I love Amy Schumer and I'm happy to see her have so much success this year. I saw her perform last year and she absolutely killed it.

Katie J. M. Baker you have great taste in music.

Aside from the ridiculousness of this Kickstarter request, I think part of the reason that they did not make any money for it is because they don't have the fan base as a musical duo. The other celebrity-affiliated KP all had fan bases to already draw from. Veronica Mars was a cult favorite with a dedicated audience,

Well it seems like it is a bit of a mixed bag. The military has made some real progress in some areas, such as the ones you cited. But it still needs some major improvement in other areas such as how it addresses incidences of sexual assault/harassment. I am an eternal optimist so I really do hope they improve in that

I agree that skin sensitivity probably plays a role as well in addition to how you choose to remove body hair. Personally, for me I use different methods of hair removal for different parts of my body.

That's interesting. I kind of wish that I could wax my under-arm hair because the results last a lot longer (and the hair grows back finer, apparently). Unfortunately, waxing irritates my under-arm skin more than waxing.

White people with dreadlocks, of course.

Hi, lady here, I shave my arm pits on a regular basis (every 5 days or so) and it does not itch or irritate my skin. In fact, that is probably the case for most women. I think what matters more is the method by which you choose to depilate.

What a narrow way of thinking. Every performer is different whether male or female. Female comics are not trying fit into a male mold when they perform.Female comics are representing themselves and being able to represent your own unique observations is not an inherently male quality. I'm glad that most people do not

Thank you. Your comment was really helpful. Even I'm a neuroscience grad student, I find most mainstream articles about scientific discoveries really maddening in their vagueness (except for IO9 and NYTimes Science articles, which tend to be a bit more detailed than and way more accurate than Jezebel).

Sheesh! So many people on this post seem to have taken Laura's blog post a little too personally seems. There IS a happy medium between looking like a slob who is only vaguely familiar with the concept of proper hygiene and dressing to the nines. I say this as a science graduate student ( i.e. limited wardrobe

Your arguments were very weak. Richie's, at least, was reasoned and thought out.

I was going to say the same thing. For comparison, Michelle Williams did the same thing when she was 15 and she has stated that being emancipated gave her an advantage over other child actors because she could work longer hours.

To be fair, Dov Charney has always been against the use of sweatshops in apparel manufacturing and the trend in American companies to outsource a lot of the manufacturing business to countries where there is less emphasis on fair wages and safe working conditions. Part of the appeal of his brand is that his employees

You and I think alike. Beards are overrated. The most attractive men look better without beards, because you can see MORE of their pretty face!

I'm going to guess "no" considering that he referred to Don as Betty's "loutish ex-husband" who lied about his identity.

I clicked on this page because I thought the cover photo was a power tool.
