I don't know if this applies to your mother or not, but I've often read in health & fitness articles that women tend to default to cardio when working out and men default (or at least are more likely to) incorporate weight training in their workouts. Based on my own experience, that is the general trend that I see at

That is a perspective I had not considered, but totally makes sense in light of the criticisms that she has gotten.

I've never heard of it but it doesn't seem so unusual. Considering there are people who get aroused looking at feet, I'm sure there's probably a fetishism for almost every body part.

Jezebel can be pretty hypocritical sometimes. I get that not everyone is going to love Anne (you can pretty much find a hater for just about every celebrity), but the constant Anne Hathaway bashing has gotten pretty ridiculous. I like Anne and I like Jennifer Lawrence and I don't see why people feel the need to put

I love Jinxx! I want her or Detox to win. I love how witty Jinx is. I can't wait to see her Little Edie drag. I can't believe none of the other queens had never heard of Little Edie either and one of the ones giving her shit for it was choosing to play Toni Braxton's sister, of all people! I can't wait for this

I know right! How dare people find a resolution to the problems they may have with each other. They should have stayed lifelong enemies instead! That's the way you deal with race issues. Duh!

It's just you and your friends. I and most of my friends (we are all in our mid-to late 20s) watch the show. And for the record, this is a mixed group of black and white folks both male and female.

My current obsession is Doctor Who. I finished watching all the episodes of the current iteration of the series about a month ago. I cannot get enough of that show. I might start watching the old episodes to tide me over until the show comes back in March. Previous obsessions of mine have been Arrested Development.

I agree. This seems happens every year or so when some young actress is starting to get major industry recognition for her work (major awards, Oscar buzz). The american public seems to love to build someone up only to want to tear that person down; especially with actresses. Jezebel was practically singing hosanas

Well there has been nearly a dozen a film and TV adaptations of Pride and Prejudice over the last 60 years. It's not different than that, I suppose. "Annie" seems to be one of those stories that people like to remake every generation.

I wish there was a way to promote your comment.

So cool! Thank you so much for all of those videos!

Actually, please do start posting videos!

The criticism here seems a bit damned if she does, damned if she doesn't. I do agree that it is odd that she somehow envisioned a Brooklyn completely devoid of POC for the first season of Girls. Having received that criticism, it seems like she is open and willing to incorporate a more diverse cast into the series.

I'm a single 28 year old graduate student with no kids (income ~ 26K/year). I haven't started saving for retirement yet, but would like to start. What is the best and simplest way for me to get a start.

hahahaha! Tell another one that was hilarious!

This article has some pretty good tips.

."At the same time any person who is gay can go to any "straight" bar or club and drink and dance, so I feel your argument is invalid due to this."

I read the NYtimes profile about what it is like to "work" with Lindsey Lohand, and girlfriend should take her own advice

I'm not saying that everyone needs to feel the same way about sex. What I am saying, is that two people in a relationship need to feel similarly enough about sex for the relationship to work. If one person can take it or leave it and generally does not have a strong desire for sex then it would be best if that person
