I use Veet depilatory cream, which I found I find more effective than shaving and resulted in less ingrown hair. It also lasts longer than shaving. I finish off with bikini zone to further reduce the incidence of ingrown hair.

That's interesting because that is how I feel about raw red onions added to salads or sandwiches.
