When has the BBC ever been cunning ? Oh I dunno, maybe when one of their most popular hosts fiddled with girls there were higher-ups covering it up... Maybe more shrewd than cunning but it’s a valid example imho

Someone posted a reply in this thread to this exact same problem. The hybrid system and the software guiding the pantographs allow for the driver to merge out of lane and keep going on the batteries untill the engine needs to take over. Besides if they approve this for expansion to the 100 km stretch I imagine the 2nd…
Yes because motorways are so pretty without them.... This is not a system meant for use in cities or commercial hubs, that’s why the trucks have the hybrid system. For long haul on motorways it makes complete sense, besides this is just for the next 10-20 years or so a similar system but completely wireless is what I…
I imagine the fire department gets access to the junction box to cut the power and then just cuts the wires or maybe there’s some kind off release system for such events that allows quick disconnects.
.
From what I see and read it’s more akin with a pantograph from a train or tram where the pantograph connects with a wide metal bar that’s diagonally across the wires to insure the greatest possible contact surface. They also have hybrid gas and battery setup in case the connection fails.
True, but I don’t think they ever intended it to be a huge hit there, just more like might as well try and see if it sells
Well Japan has near perfect roadsurfaces, those guys don’t kid around when they see a pothole. So only driveable on perfect roads is kind off a mute point for it’s main market. Delivering some sort of groceries in a Japanese city and some fun in the hills on the side, that’s this car’s true calling.
That sweet rattle of the lever or that lovely electronic whine in the rear when it’s an electronic handbrake. So reassuring and such an automatic thing to do if you grow up on manuals like most Europeans do. Couldn’t imagine not doing it even in an a/t.
Actually less serious accidents happen in Rugby compared to American football. The fact that players in the latter are actually wearing full armour has been shown to actually encourage silly tackles that end up in spinal injuries or neck snap, probably thinking “ I’m armoured wtf could happen to me”
Doesn’t matter sometimes, we have days in Belgium where big countrywide “speedticketingmarathons” are organised they’ll still pull you over and make you pay on the spot. Even if you’re a Belgian national, hell they won’t even point you to the nearest ATM to pay in cash like they used to, they have their own cardreader…
They have a parking lot now where rich trophy wives can be shown how well their future range rover performs at the shopping mall parking lot
If I do the mats right, shouldn’t these be about the right age or near the right age for import ? Earliest GTI’s were made in ‘84.
It’s considered fashionable to put in us spec lights or reprogram it to us spec having the front ambers on all the time. Started as a “tuner” thing but i’ve seen plenty regular people do it as well lately
There is such a thing as riding jeans
AMG version was fast as hell thou, and really not that bad looking imho. The previous gen was a brick by comparison with its very square lines
Just a ceremonial officers sabre , I’m guessing he’s not in full dress for the occasion because of the High Vis equipment they are required to use during launch. Else he’d probably would be.
Both the VW Transporter and the Mercedes Vito are being decked out by customising companies all over the EU. There are business packages available for the Transporter from the factory as well such as the Transporter Caravelle Business edition in the picture below. Not sure if the vito has similar factory interior…
Pff, quad rotor says lol and shouts at your engine in fury and flames
