I would have to say McLaren has the strongest identity. If you know what McLaren is, you know exactly what you're going to get with their cars.

The water has receded a lot, I`m in north Calgary and there was not that much flooding up here. Downtown and everything is still closed though

A sexy beast like this is my personal choice for a road trip machine. Big enough that you can take a boat-load of friend and you can even sleep in it if nothing else. They suck down gas, but they are very reliable in my experience. Reliability is definitely a plus on a major roadtrip.
