Ordering aftermarket parts for work is so much less stressful when you don’t have to hope the person on the other end of the line didn’t make a mistake!

More importantly, what’s that little black sports car on the right at 1:49? A Lotus Esprit?
It is an excellent book. So is Seveneves.
Cryptonomicon is among my favorite books ever. It’s quite a tome, 1,000 pages or so, but I’ve read it cover-to-cover ten times; it’s simply that good.
In Cryptonomicon Neal Stephenson details his protagonist’s adventure with wisdom teeth removal. I’ve always suspected it was in part at least autobiographical. It’s a bit longish but well worth the read:
When you have like 2% body fat, that’s about all you’re gonna get!
I fuckin’ hate boob slip truthers
For sure. I’m not enough of a gun expert to make the distinction, nor do I have the hunting experience to know what type of rifle they couldn’t afford to lose. I’d assume a six bullet clip would be enough to take down anything in North America. I’m not saying they should limit it to like bolt action or something.
It’s very weird, I still find them in good shape quite often around here. My 94 still has the factory rust-proofing on the underside, as does my $100 car.
You’d be quite surprised. The 1st gen turbo vans have quite a large following. Pretty much any mod that applies to other turbo Dodges of the era can be applied to the vans. Turbo Dodge and Turbo Mopar forums are dedicated to people like myself and have been gaining over the last 10yrs or so.
Right, because it’s turbo and under towing or severe use that thing is going to be spooling, making heat, and that will ignite lower octane fuel early, increasing pinging... and yeah, bad stuff. Anything with a turbo that’s getting pushed should make use of the recommended or suggested higher octane fuel.
Found that out the hard way.
Challenge accepted.
Yeah, I know it’s either stuffed or deep dish. But I think the most defining characteristic is the sauce is on top of the cheese, regardless if it’s deep dish or stuffed crust. Not my thing, to be honest. That being said, it’s not like I’ll turn it down if it’s in front of me. I just won’t seek it out. :)
Had a dog “hit” on me while walking through an airport, didn’t know what it was about until the handler asked me if I was carrying cash. I said no and the dog proceeded to find $40 in my bag that I had forgotten I had.
Haha I have no doubt he had used it before. Either that or he probably needs to look into doing comedy with that quick wit.
Funny story:
That... Actually looks really awesome. I’d love to have something like that.
There was a buttload of them on I-94/43 from Chicago Thursday and Friday. May also be with all the Cubs fans coming up for the series with the Brewers this weekend, too.
Fun discussion to read, as an Ex-Workmen’s Comp examiner, Married to a 20 year Senior examiner, with almost all of our friends being Examiners, Lawyers and Judges, only thing I have to add is this.
