As opposed to demented, unable to recognize your family, restrained to a bed, unable to pee or poop on your own, being spoon fed a paste or through a tube in your nose or in your abdomen which is how some/many? people go. Yeah, I'll take your way.

Nobody here is old enough to remember this one:
Thanks for the info. The one thing I don't like about the last few A8 generations is that the rear styling no longer conveys "large car" that the D2 A8 did. It's hard to distinguish between the A8 and A6 and just about every other Audi.
I don't think my luck is much worse than average. They're very complex cars and have a lot of things to break as they age. They're also very expensive when things do break if you're not able to do the work yourself. For example, if I had had the dealer do it, he wanted $2700 to replace the fuel pump (2000 Audi…
oh yeah, no disagreement there. Just like VW couldn't get people to associate VW with expensive luxury with the Phaeton. But I bet if VW brought back the Phaeton they'd have better luck with it. Maybe the K900 is too early right now for what Kia brings to most people's minds but they'll get there eventually. It…
Exactly. I'm betting the Kia's is "close enough" that for the usual commuting, grocery getting, country club going stuff that most people usually do with their cars, you're not going to notice unless it's a side by side comparison probably needing canyon carving or track driving to bring out the differences.
No personal experience with one but that's a damn good looking car. If they've improved the mechanicals and reliability even half as much as the appearance, it should be fine. Plus, their targets (7 series, A8, S-Class) are pretty darn unreliable and expensive as hell to repair (I do have personal experience with…
A spark from a jumper cable being used correctly is less likely to ignite gases because you are making that last jumper cable hookup not to the battery. You are making that last jumper cable hookup to the engine block, alternator, a good ground as far away from the battery as you can get. You WILL get sparking but…
Don't do this even if it's AGM, Gell cell. The sparking can ignite the old battery. We see about 1 person every winter coming through the ER after their battery exploded in their face when they were trying to jump their car, never mind something like this.

It's so individual. Malamutes are similar to huskies in a lot of the ways you've listed. In fact, I was thinking your Atticus was actually a Malamute from that picture.

True for those northern breeds (and beagles) including Malamutes. Never trust them off leash is the standard advice. OTOH, individual personality is everything. This one is Vincent and when he was younger I would walk him off leash at the golf course. My other one, Lance, also does not run away. No training,…
If it's a clogged aerator screen, there is/may be two of them. One on the outside and visible as you look at the sprayer and the other one between the sprayer head and the flexible line.
Malamutes do tap dances:
One of my Malamutes doesn't bark or talk. My other one talks a lot:
