OMG!! KOTAKU HATES PS4!! THEY ARE PAID BY MICROSOFT TO POST BAD THINGS ABOUT PS4!!!

Yup, just made a comment with this. Great fucking game, though.

Back in the day, FF2 when Ana dies and later when Edge has to kill his own parents.

FF3 when Kefka annihilated Cyan's town

Lost Odyssey when the kids mother died

You are right about it being a cash cow. Any franchise that consistently improves itself in major ways will always be a cash cow.

Here's hoping they offer it in Wii U with toned-down graphics, but stellar game play using the Gamepad.

I play in my living room on my couch with a coffee table in front of me. I set the Gamepad up in front of my on the coffee table. I was using the included stand, but I bought the Nyko battery pack with an included stand so I use that now. I only us the wiimote/nunchuk on the mission modes. Nothing beats the accuracy

DON'T pay attention to anything Kotaku has t0 say about he Wii U.

DO read the comments section for more accurate representation of the Wii U by actual owners who enjoy it everyday.

Do you actually own a WiiU? I'm asking because I thought the same as you, until I bought one, and found it isn't nearly as confusing as you think. There are three main controller types, Remote/Nunchuk, Gamepad, pro controller. Every game box lists compatibility. This opens up a variety of ways to play your games. I

I don't know what Wii U he is talking about, but he is absolutely off base. Get a second opinion from someone with a fresh perspective.

There is still plenty to do. You can easily reinvent Gears by starting a new trilogy set much farther in the future from part 3 where civilization is back to normal, the planet is rebuilt, and there is a new human antagonist that wields geo-politcal power and somehow blend in either Locusts or a new alien life

I felt the same way man. I took the plunge and bought it with windwaker HD. Then I bought pickmin 3 and Zombie U. All three games are untouchable by anything that PS4 and Xbone has to offer currently. All three games are extremely fun, challenging, and greatly immersive thanks to the Gamepad. I implore you, try it

I'm a big Nintendo fan and I was very skeptical about the Wii U, feeling the game pad was gimmicky and not trusting any of the exclusives. I finally bought it when Windwaker HD came out. Let's take things into perspective:

Now that all "next gen" consoles are out, there is no adventure/RPG game available except for

Wow, the same huge issue with the 360: broken optical drives. How have they not learned?

Yup, my bad, took your response out of context.

You're talking to someone who's been in the A/V industry for 15 years. If you think only a miniscule market exists where people have a more complicated A/V set up than just a cable box/tv/xbox, you are very much mistaken. MS is going after a demographic that transcends gamers. They want people with money to burn, and

If you are a big football fan like me, the only reason I have Direct TV is because of NFL Ticket. I do know its a waste of money, but it actually costs less than going to bars and watching your game. You also pay for the privacy and convenience factor.

Right, because I said software integration and streaming, not hardware integration.

You should probably let other editors review this game as well and update your review with their opinion.
