I’m upper management at a company deemed essential. We manage fed/state/mun. fleets all over the country. The owner and I traditionally never get along and some would consider him a selfish dick. He’s generous in some ways but he’s hard on staff and generally cheap. He sent me home a week before all of the state

This shit right here is EXACTLY why I won’t buy a Tesla. I’ve come close to pulling the trigger on one three different times. Each time some new story pops-up beforehand where Musk puts his dangerous narcissism on full display.

It’s a good thing we had strong and competent leaders that prepared us when all the experts warned of the coming issues in early-to-mid January. Imagine where we’d be if they just mocked it and didn’t prepare at all!

One thing that stood with me the entire episode was:

It’s interesting, because now people are buying it purely because it’s going on a run/selling out and they don’t want to be left without. They’re replicating behavior as a fear reflex. Also, misinformation or assumed supply shortage.

Probably gets off on underwater levels too. Shameful.

Hold up, you actually like fetch quests? Do you like escort quests too? Are you the guy in every QA group that's been causing me a lifetime of monotonous torment?

LOL? Really? Some are just trying make valid points and Yummsh is the one that is too much of a bitch to make standard replies. And you are calling those guys the “stupid little bitches”. GTFO, dumbass.

and yet here you are, performing for us

Dude’s putting in OT “not caring”.  LMAO.

You seem to care pretty hard! Like, embarrassingly hard.

Ah, yes, the cowardly pic quote.

Just add an accent to the “e” and you’ve made a 12,000 grey color. Pronounced: “guh-rai”.

TBH aren’t all Bugatti’s ugly?

I can relate to your misgivings. The problem stems from the canon. Since the end of TNG, the deconstruction of Star Trek has been the status quo. It all started with of DS9 turning everything we knew about the series on its head. Since then, writers have been chipping away at the optimism of Star Trek.

Oh, and about your snarky phone app comment, I do in fact close apps sometimes.  Usually when they have become unresponsive.  In fact, that’s a suggested measure to take.  I can point your toward those official supports pages if you would like.  Like pretty much everything else you have said about tech you are

Now you’re just back peddling. At no point did I ever say anything about doing it when there are no issues. And you are the one that claimed a Switch never needs to be rebooted. That is just flat wrong. Also, the difference in sleep vs shutdown in terms of hardware wear debatable. Sleep just keeps memory active,

You are just saying the same thing and claiming it’s different. It doesn’t matter if it’s janky software the bottom line is many devices sometimes need to be rebooted.

You couldn’t sort games early on.

The Switch menu reminds me of the early days of Sony’s XMB.  Once you get a decent sized library the dash just turns into a mess.
