I think games have at least a CHANCE if they don’t rely on mutliplayer or online service. Like No Man’s Sky managed to overcome it’s huge laundry list of problems. Unfortunately for Anthem, it requires a community to keep it alive and your time to suck is exceptionally limited.

Did they accept the cash when it was handed to them after day 2? Sounds like they did. So if he had gone bust after that would they have given the money back?

Yes, we all completely lose any sense of aesthetics on our 55th birthday.

Wait, I recall Hakeem was such a nice dude he refused to sow his wild royal oats. How did he knock someone up? One of the bath ladies moved to the US?

Because everything has to be someone else’s fault. This is 2019.

I’ve never understood the consternation over players losing scholarships due to performance. This is exactly how academic scholarships work. You fail to keep a specific GPA or take enough hours and you lose it. Athletic performance may at times be harder to quantify, but the underlying concept is the same.

Well, it’s not really a non-contractual commitment, given that the players have to sign (totally unfair) letters of intent and do bind themselves to a typical one-year sit out in terms of transfer, in exchange for a commitment for a scholarship and access to training to be a professional football player. Now, I think

0-100 in 9 seconds seems...slow, right?  I mean a Ferrari Enzo was doing it in 6 and some change fifteen years ago.
