Jesus. Did Ridley Scott shag your dog and run over your mum or something?

It’s not a slow year for RPGs at all. Baldur’s Gate 3, Starfield, Cyberpunk: Phantom Liberty, Colony Ship, WH40K: Rogue Trader, Sea of Stars, FF16, Diablo 4, Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn, Wartales, Persona 5 Tactica, Star Ocean: The Second Story R, For the King 2, etc.

How out of touch are they that they didnt anticipate something like this?

I fucking hate “reaction videos,” and have since their inception. Doing this for a war video adds a whole new layer of pathetic narcissism for clicks and attention.

I also wish I didn’t have to go back to camp to swap out party members. It doesn’t take a huge amount of time but it is annoying, especially because I can dismiss members without going to the camp. I’d love to be able to go, “Hey, Astarion, go back to camp and tell Gale he’s needed.”

Yea do it! Just rush the main story, it’s not too bad if you focus on it. I bet you’re close! The ending sections and set pieces / emotional pay off are so worth it. I loved the ending.

Loved M3GAN, Five Nights was okay, ish. I feel my biggest complaint was it was a wasted opportunity.

On the flipside, I actually love being in places that are supposed to be bustling but are temporarily empty (or nearly empty) of people. I went to college (UCLA) in the same city where I grew up, so I mostly went home (15 minute drive) for holidays anyway, but on occasion I’d wander around campus in the middle of a

Headline is too much. It makes it sound like the game company is screwing over homeless people in real life in some way making it sound sensational.

I always felt terrible for classmates (mostly foreign) who stayed on campus during Thanksgiving and winter breaks. There’s nothing more disconcerting, Overlook-style, than being in a big empty place that is supposed to be filled with bustling humanity.

I confess to being a sucker for a movie or show with a well created, non-campy seventies vibe. I find something oddly cozy in a “Mary Tyler Moore” kind of way about them and gentle Christmas stories set in this era, even if they are only mediocre, are like a narcotic for me. I watch the Ed Asner ”The Gathering” TV

I completely understand why you dislike the character. I love her, but it’s because I find her abrasiveness hilarious.

Yeah, I never got a feeling of maliciousness from him, just, i dunno, immaturity? Just doing whatever it takes to get a laugh, no matter how crass. But he knows there’s a line. I mean, he’ll willingly cross it, but he knows it’s there.

i always found he had a sweetness and humanity behind the edgelord crap, it’s just that you needed to listen to hours of him to get there. he’s also, deep down, a colossal nerd.

It’s not just because it’s Starfield, it’s the Kotaku ethos now. The aim is to find the negative angle on every story, because negativity gets more traffic. With the constant complaint pieces and the endless slideshows, it’s clear what the priority is on the site now.

Kotaku is creating a lot of hit pieces against this game as a result of being on Bethesda’s blacklist. Take it all with a grain of salt.

The real question is... ... ...

that gamers couldn’t tell the difference between middling and terrible if you put a gun to their heads?

It’s mostly posturing. These clowns are going to play the games and they know it.

The boring, cut and paste negativity all expressing the same two or three thoughts is insufferable.
