Read my post again. As currently written, the headline is describing SAG-AFTRA’s demands, the ones that were rejected, as “beyond reasonable.” That implies that they were the ones asking for ridiculous things when in fact they were just asking to be treated like human beings. It’s AMPTP’s demands that were

Counterpoint: we’ve polarized and lost empathy to the point that large portions of America reflexively side with corporate interests. Not because they trust them or have better experiences but because they have the shortsighted attitude of, “Tough shit, my work treats me like garbage too. Stop whining and get a real

SAG-AFTRA’s Rejected Contract Demands Seem Beyond Reasonable

Your joke is wooshing over a lot of people’s heads here, who I can assume didn’t actually read the whole article lol

Okay, but where’s the pair of pants to...uh...play along....with Baldur’s Gate 3?

I think you’ll find if you do some introspection that you’re actually racist and mad about Phillipa.

This tactic should be on the table in the writers strike, if it isn’t already. All creative should insist on contracts that protect their works — at the very minimum, prevent them from going into a vault, never to be seen again, all for the sake of a write-off.

I’m a PC gamer, but I usually just throw away the money on buying prebuilt computers because I’m afraid of fucking up on building my own :( Last time I got a new PC I almost did build my own, but I chickened out.

Not mentioned in this story: Copas is from Kentucky, so she was presumably unaware that El Paso is a border town and signs for Juarez just mean that you’re in El Paso, not that you’re on the way to have your 48-year-old organs harvested, or whatever nonsense she inhaled from cable news.

Middle mile is a broadband networking term that has nothing to do with where geographically the network is located but who owns what segments are connecting and how that traffic is getting routed. Think major backbone offshoots connecting to a metro region telco/cable network before distribution to end users (last

Bringing better Twitter access to rural areas is probably counterproductive to him and the country.

Something about “it’s giving” always sounds like a line from Zoolander

This is a game where no one said the title out loud isn’t it?

Blog post title is giving headache

Actually, I was very curious about this because I was unaware of this take actually existed; I was under the assumption that Kay was cool with mostly everyone, including those people that aren’t far gone but shutter at signs of “wokeness”, both overt and nuanced; I felt this was largely because the role is gender

Personally, I prefer women protagonists these days. I just find it more interesting, as they’re often given deeper characterization than the dime-a-dozen stoic men protagonists. Plus, I play games to not be me. A woman is about as far from me as I can get.

I’d like to live in a world where we ignore misogynists. I can only imagine it is not the majority of gamers that are upset and just a small percentage of basement dwelling cave trolls. We need to stop giving them the attention they so desperately crave

You guys need major therapy for your KK Derangement Syndrome

No, I like the implicit acknowledgement that men just made it all up.

It’s just an homage to HELLRAISER and Frank & Julia.
