I’d take the lame jokes over the intentionally unhelpful messages that are designed to get other players killed.

Best one so far, in front of a turtle. “Could this be a god?”
Have you seen Robert Pattinson in any non-Twilight movies?
I like the tweet that notes this (alleged) pilot is “6-0" as if there’s a lot of pilots out there with like losing records. Generally notching anything in the loss column as a military pilot doesn’t end well.
Far as I’m concerned, unless you’re one of these admittedly impressive people who can beat Dark Souls blindfolded at SL1 while using a DDR controller, there is no shame at all in the occasional bit of cheese in a FS game.
Sounds like you haven’t played it and have no idea what you’re talking about from a writing perspective. At all.
Sir, this is an Applebees.
Dammit Reiner, must you be a buzzkill?
Also, did you play it while listening to ‘80s hair metal? That’s important. You’ll get caught up in it.
Personally, I call it Bowlet Time
RADICAL! MOM I WANT ONEEEEE
It had big shoes to fill, it was doomed to fail
It’s like how Franklin does have to deal with being in a wheelchair in a world making that actively difficult, but he’s also an annoying asshole! Which is to say, human.
For sure the thing that people seem to gloss over about the original Chainsaw is how banal the evil is. Leatherface isn’t an immortal zombie like Jason or a faceless malevolent entity like Michael Myers, he’s just a big stupid hillbilly who eats people. The Sawyers are kinda incompetent and that makes them scarier…
To their credit, just on seeing that picture I felt the need to see them all messily killed.
The same as saying “fat people have no rights, they should get bariatric surgery”. It might be a joke, but pretty tasteless and would get someone it trouble.
But that’s not what comes across here. Here it’s describing how much someone loved the game, calling it “stellar”, and then saying it’s bad when it’s samey which is just bizarre to me because it’s effectively criticising it for doing what you enjoyed.
Because it’s odd to complain about the content being “samey” when you’re then describing the game as “stellar”. It’s a very bizarre juxtaposition to criticise the elements of something you so highly praise.
A big problem with the very idea of an Uncharted movie is that the games are very intentionally built around elaborate set pieces that movies can’t pull off convincingly. They can move effortlessly throughout elaborate action sequences in a single shot, something that would look cheap and CGI-ish in a film. (This is…
“It’s not solely a problem with Horizon Forbidden West, nor is it a problem limited to video games. You see it across popular genre fiction these days, as everything from Star Wars to the Marvel Cinematic Universe doubles down on plot over people, going so far as to fill in backstories for enigmatic characters who…
It’s 2022 and swatting is still a thing. I hate this timeline.
