Nineteen states have seceded, guys, and the rebel “Western Forces” are going to reach the White House by the Fourth of July!!!

Sterling has always been a contrarian.

You should also watch a recap of Control’s AWE DLC if you haven’t played that, since it resolves some of the plot threads from the first Alan Wake and sets up AW2.

Cid Highwind isn’t exactly a bundle of positive traits, it’s fine if he’s a mess. I just hope they don’t give him a vape. “Sit your ass down and drink your goddamn TEA!”

At some point I hope they bring Gigan into these. He was always my favorite.

I’d love to see a Mike Mignola art piece for these movies. Dude loves big gorillas, 30s pulp, and Hollow Earth, he has to do some fan art sometime.

Wasn’t a kids’ show, but G. Gordon Liddy was a regular on 18 Wheels of Justice back in the early 2000s.

I mean I’m not a sports fan either, for pretty much the same reason. I guess the ultimate level of dorkery we’ll someday arrive at would be like a “fantasy esports league” or something.

Had to check to make sure I wasn’t on the Onion tab.

The cherry on top of the Grindhouse trailer was at the very end when the voiceover says “Thanksgiving. Coming this February.” Actually releasing it around Thanksgiving just seems...wrong, somehow.

I know he made the Daleks in his own image, based on his chair, but after the number of times they’ve screwed him over and humiliated him, I could easily see him saying “fuck you guys” and putting his head on an android body. Bleach could really make the role his own if they play the cards right, instead of just

It’s like they saw the reaction to Morbius and said “No, we need to do worse.”

Maybe we really do deserve what we get.

Starfield was fun, but it was overshadowed by a ton of other good games that came out this year. Baldur’s Gate 3, Tears of the Kingdom, and Alan Wake 2 blow everything else out of the water, and there are at least half a dozen other excellent games that have come out since January.

I thought the origin of the term was gamers on 4chan calling Gone Home a “feminist walking simulator,” very much as a pejorative for what they saw as “not a real game.”

I forget who it was, someone in my family who was probably about 10 years old at the time, but we’ve called everything “a rip-roaring fart of an entertainment ride” ever since.

Unboxing videos are baffling to me, and reaction videos are several steps below that. It’s like “No, watching paint dry isn’t fucking boring enough for me. I have to watch someone else’s face as they watch pain dry.”

I don’t care if he unwrites it as long as he just moves on. I wasn’t a fan of the Cartmel Master Plan either, which was fortunately never implemented, but similar enough that Chibnall brought it back into my mind. Even if the Doctor is some kind of unique cosmic entity, that’s not why I watch the show or what makes

At this point I wonder how much of the universe is even left - the Master destroyed about a quarter of it in “Logopolis.” By accident.

The entire format of the game is baffling to me. “Let’s allow the internet to choose how the story goes” is never a good idea. I have no idea how it was even made without someone warning them about what would happen.
