I just finished replaying Assassin's Creed 2, after watching that video preview of Brotherhood not too long ago, I'd forgotten how great it was. I even wound up doing more of the extras than on my first playthrough (I think I'd gotten sidetracked by another game towards the end, then.)

@Arnheim: I never had any intention of getting a PS1, but then one fateful day I went to a friend's house and he was playing FFVII.

Sonuvabitch, Kotaku! I was all set to go to bed last night when I said to myself "Hey, let me check up on Kotaku before I hit the hay."

A really nice looking sleeve :) I'm usually not a fan, but the artwork is quite nice. But my favorite character on there didn't get any vocal mention at all. D: It's okay, Toejam, we all know who you are! :D

I've always had trouble memorizing which of those buttons are which from the PSX through PS3. I don't know why, but quick time events are hell for me on there, unless they show the button's relative position on screen. Any other systems I've owned I've not had a problem. Although I can usually remember the triangle is…

@Wozamil: I do this in the demo, I rarely get to the mission before the time runs out because I can rarely bear to get out of the car and stop the music. Even tougher when a good song is playing and I'm getting chased/shot at by the cops ;)

@Diamond Sea: The only connection I've noticed through the demo is that there are quotes from the main character in Mafia on the loading screens. Other than that, I've heard they're separate stories as well.

@dreamfall: Same here! Putting into perspective how long it's been since the first game, I was in my year long exchange program in England when it came out. I had gotten pretty sick for a couple of weeks, and a friend bought it for me to play on my laptop as I recovered. Such a blast! I've been playing the heck out…

@d4rk-h4x0rer: There's one right on the counter in your home when you start the demo, too. Actually took me by surprise, pleasantly. I had spent the first 5 minutes exploring the house before I set out to do the mission, and wound up seeing that before any other game content. ;P
