@bakagaijin: I know I'm late to this post, well, because I couldn't access Kotaku on Firefox :P I snagged Chrome just to be able to visit and post here. The site won't load for me at all, either, otherwise.
@XForce: I red through this story and it blue me away. Orange you glad that you don't have to do this now that he has? Yelloways want your own personal high score though, and when you fall just short of it, sure you'll get angreen, but you'll keep trying. Purple.
@Kobun: ...Gramouflage?
@HotChops: Indeed, where I am Charter is the only choice available. Fios and U-Verse are available a few towns away, but they've not made their way here in a couple of years time.
@effin: bahahahaha
@EdificeComplex: You have mastered the use of the lens flare well, grasshopper!
@DRaGZ: Beat me to it :)
@Michael Dukakis: I really Dupre it's more of a subconscious homage than anything. Otherwise it's a pretty Iolo blow to originality.
That comic has been on my fridge since its original publication in the newspaper (over 2 decades ago!), it's freakin' trippy to see it on here!
@AchromaticMagus: That was my exact reply, hehe.
I absolutely love Google Earth. I sometimes play around on it for hours, just thinking of places I'd like to visit, or virtually revisit places I've been.
@Taggart6: WHEAAAAAAAAAAATOOOOOOOOON!
@mcrproductions: Oh yeah, I'm not saying nobody wins, obviously they do! I liken it to a slot machine in that regard, but at least there you know right off the bat you're gambling. Stacker is just a veiled slot machine (though to actually win you DO have to get to the top, but only when the money quota is full-up!)…
@thesircuddles: I was going to post a -very- similar story earlier, but got sidetracked and forgot. I was also at a bowling alley and got into a great groove and saw the box skip as well.
@Azures: I figured such would be the case (I did know about the world changing), so I guess that makes sense. Thanks :)
I've done little to no reading up on what's been revealed thus far. Is this new system planned to be something that kicks in once you hit 80 and is different from then on out? Or will the entirety of the leveling scheme from 1-85 be this new format? Or have they even revealed that much yet?
@Railgun5: Indeed he can! And did! <3
Hehe, this article made me think of this in WoW terms. Sort of like sitting on your shiny new ultra rare mount in front of the Auction House or the Bank hoping folks will scope you out and be all "Tsk... LUCKYYYYYY...." :P
@THEMISSING: I just peruse these threads, but I find your constant comments on the haters just as annoying as the haters themselves.
